Some items you'd see at the local Jamaican places - jerk chicken, curry goat, oxtail, etc. And other stuff They let me sample the oxtail (excellent) and the okra (tender and little spicy). I went with the fried pork - its bits of cheap, fatty chunks of pork (probably street/soul food style). Not quite what I expected. But the rice and plantains were excellent. And it came with a (beet?) and potato salad that was also good. Next time I want to try the jerk chicken and the homemade beef/chicken/fish patties. Staff was extremely friendly and entertained all my questions. Give it a shot!”

“I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Hi Sushi. I live in Babylon Village (where there is a Sushi place on each corner) and I ONLY eat Sushi at this restaurant. The Proprietor and his wife are the kindest people and have a warm welcoming attitude that makes you want to come back for more. The Sushi is of the highest caliber, fresh, tasty and delicious. Any negative reviews- just disregard. The service is friendly, efficient and fast. Take out is also a positive. If you want to eat Sushi that is above all others- go straight to Hi Sushi!”

“I love love love this restaurant! I was having a party and needed Chinese food one day but the one nearby my home was closed so I came here. From when I entered the place, the owners were super kind and accommodating! I had a pretty confusing order but the owners were super friendly and patient throughout my experience! The food came out super quick too and of course was delicious. They also included some awesome extra touches like complimentary drinks and a lot of extra utensils. Small talk can come a long way haha. I strongly recommend this restaurant and I'll be coming here at least once a week! Awesome place!!”

“Great place to enjoy peanuts and leave shells on the floor while you wait for a seat. You can even have them at your table. The warm bread with honey butter is the next event to fill your stomach before the actual meal starts. Chili is a great appetizer. I think most of the side dishes are fine. Steaks are good but whatever you do, stay away from any sirloin. Even prepared at medium, it tastes and chews like shoe leather and not the rich Corinthian leather kind. I’ve been there numerous times, but I guess the visits are spread out enough that I forget to avoid the sirloin. My default cheap nature guides me to sirloin and I regret it after the first bite. Ribeye, NY strip and anything else is fine. I’m not sure I know what their “road kill” cut is or how it tastes.”

“The food quality is very good for the main dish. Their naan bread is on a harder and denser version than my liking. This restaurant could be so much better if they have effective and efficient service. When we went in, there were only 4 tables include us. Only one person (assume he is the owner) service the dine-in customers. We didn't want to wait long, so we grab the menu ourselves, called on him when we are ready to order and walked up to the cash register to pay after we finished dinner. This is something they can easily to improve on. Considered not many restaurants have quality food at a reasonable price, you could get take out if they haven't improve their wait service. We will still go back to give the restaurant a second chance.”
