(November 11, 2018, 9:01 pm)Beautiful grounds and buildings are impressively maintained. Service is incredible, they are willing to do whatever they can to help you out. Surprisingly good and full breakfast. All around great experience. You get what you pay for.
(September 26, 2018, 4:59 pm)Our second stay here, and we upgraded to the silver room. This room (Kingfisher - they name them) is huge! Well worth the upgrade. It's raining today, which makes it perfect since we can just stay in and enjoy the fireplace, jetted tub, etc. The bathroom is large as well. The only weird thing is that the bathroom has a vent to the hallway, which is very open (it's above the door) so the hall light always comes in - so it feels a little less private, but it's not a big deal especially since it's the only guest room on this hallway. All rooms have a sleep number bed. My wife and I sleep close together, so we don't care for this type of bed, but it's a nice touch. We still slept well both nights. In the end, this is a great place to stay, and they offer lots beyond the room (free boating/kayaking, hammocks scattered around, trails, wildlife, balcony, pool, etc... and many indoor activities like board games, books, free snacks throughout the day, breakfast, etc.) Too many to cover in this review! Again this was our second stay and we couldn't be happier!
(July 25, 2018, 4:35 pm)This is a gem of a place. The Inn and the surrounding area is lovingly maintained with great attention to detail and comfort. Its peaceful and a great retreat in nature, but still has many creature comforts like excellent breakfast, a well stocked snack bar that's open around the clock, and nicer linens and adjustable beds etc. It rained much of the time we were there and it really didn't detract from out enjoyment because its such a lovely spot. One thing to note is that we came midweek and they were able to accommodate my two younger children ($25/per kid per day) with me (2.5 and 5) but generally it seems they don't have children staying there as much to preserve the quiet peaceful vibe. We will definitely come back when they are older because they loved it!
(June 14, 2018, 8:31 pm)My wife and I had a great experience here! The inn is a quiet location which is perfect if you just want to get away for a while. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. They have kayaks available to use along with many hammocks around the property. The pool is heated too. Hot breakfast was great! My wife and I plan on coming back.
