“A hidden gem. A two-way road leads you to a small shack, about a 5 minute walk to the actual dock, or if available, they have a golf cart shuttle. We rented a pontoon boat, first time operating one. Actually less "bouncy" then a regular boat and a lot more room to lounge and tan.. Don't forget to rent a tube, especially if kids on board. Restrooms are available. Very pleasant knowledgeable lady at the front shack, very nice staff. Nice pontoon boat. Rates are similar to others.”

“We rented a boat here in the summer. You do need to get here early to get a boat and to get on the water quickest. It is truly first come, first serve, but they do have a lot of boats. The person who helped was the granddaughter of the company, and she was awesome, very helpful, and informative of where to go. It may be pricey, but it's well worth it.”

“This year was the second time I have stayed at these cabins with a family of 27 adults and kids included. We rent out the entire place for a week...and we LOVE LOVE LOVE it here! The cabins are clean and you can walk a few minutes down to their dock and jump into the lake. The kids love it because they're in the water all day and some of them love to fish off the dock. They also have kayaks you can use (free)..so much fun!! There is a private beach with floats and chairs if you want to tan or just sit and read a book. They have a few fire pits so at night we all gather together and it's just a great time for the family. They have a basketball/tennis court set up, volleyball nets set up and a ping pong table. Cannot forget to mention the laundry room that you can use and is filled with board games to play! The place is not far from the grocery store and close to town. The owner and Christina who manage the place are very kind and willing to assist if you need anything. We will be back next year! Thank you Timberlane Cottages for having us!!”

Simply put, the owners are great people and the crew they hire is the best. They are all personable, kind, and hard working. The boats they rent are perfect for all your basic needs on Lake George - tubing, water skiing, fishing, picnicking on an island in the Narrows, or just moored up at Sandy Bay. They are well maintained and clean. I highly recommend choosing Yankee over any other marina.”
