“We came across Gyro World by accident after doing some local activities nearby and needing some sustenance. A quick Yelp search showed it was 2.6 miles away and we both felt like Greek food would hit the spot. We didn't expect to be so pleased with our experience. We sat outside on a partly cloudy afternoon. Diego, our server, was extremely helpful and friendly. He'd been with the restaurant two out of the three years they've been open, he told us. We decided to share the Mediterranean mixed platter ($20.95). We started with the salad and pita bread, which was warm, toasted and tasty. The salad had a great lemon vinaigrette, too. Even considering we were sharing the platter, the portions were amazing. The spinach pie was superb as was the gyro (lamb). The pastitsio and mousaka were new for us but we enjoyed them as well. Over all we really enjoyed our meal here. The portions were great, the food was tasty, the restaurant was clean inside (bathrooms and service area) and our server was very friendly and professional. We plan on making a dedicated trip to come back even though we're not from the area.”
