“Lovely Sanctuary! If you want to have some quiet time, go for a walk with your dog, go with your family or just paint or photograph nature, observe plants or animals, get away from noise. This is the perfect place! There is a swamp, there is a bird observatory, there are several trails and are easy to follow. The dark blue trail might be a bit stiff in a couple of spots if you never go for walks, but kids can do it perfectly fine. The other trails are really easy. I don't think it's a great place for runners. I t's just beautiful!”

“Went for the first time today with my beagle. He loved hanging out with the two big dogs that were there! Hopefully folks don't mind that he isn't fixed...I was relieved that I didn't have to deal with that today. Great space for dogs to let loose and run. 5 minutes from my house, what could be better??”

“Took just a quick walk down to the lake as darkness fell, but this is a little gem. Way off the beaten track - not even doggers and joggers when I was there. Deeply forested with some lakes and wetlands. Well worth the mosey.”

“In fact, and in contrast to some genius reviewer, there are no “crocodiles” or alligators living in this or any other northeastern pond. ???? That said, don’t swim in ponds.”

“Small lots are leased, for a small fee, to community members so they can grow and harvest an organic garden. Children ages 2-4 years of age are brought there in the spring to learn about plants???? and planting with mini tools. Please be aware that the garden is within the Cedar Lane Town Park.”
