I shopped around looking for a specific spout for my bathtub — the part was on a massive list of Delta back-orders that weren’t being fulfilled until next year. This was the ONLY plumbing supply showroom in all of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester that had this spout. Their price matched online prices including tax and the items as packed perfect and never opened. I walked in five minutes before close and they sorted me out in 10. 5/5 stars for service. 5/5 stars for showroom. The showroom is WILD. They had faucets I’ve never seen before of varying quality. I would say this business carries more high-end items. A true hidden pluming gem. You would never know how massive of a showroom it is for the location.”

“J. Salvatore and sons installed my roof with superior quality and crcraftsmsnship. I have what is called a Mansard roof. It is a flat roof. We fully replaced our roof down to the plywood. Our roof is very high, over 30 feet. The workers were super friendly and courteous. My wife was pregnant at the time and they went out of their way to accommodate her. They dismantled and replaced our roof in one day and did an incredible job. They installed high quality roofing materials and cleaned up the work site inside and out I highly recommend J. Salvatore and sons if you need a full replacement of a roof.”

“So glad I stumbled upon Giselle’s salon a month ago after getting my eyebrows threaded next door. I went in for a regular haircut and blowout, and was impressed by the impeccable customer service and laid-back atmosphere. Giselle is an expert in the field and prices her services reasonably—I was shocked that my haircut cost only $65–I have long and thick curly hair, and other salons in the area charge me at least $80. Returned to Giselle a few days ago for a Keratin Complex treatment, and feel like a new woman. My dry hair is silky smooth and looks healthy again. Followed her instructions and recommendations for the aftercare, and my hair is still looking amazing. For a curly-haired gal with thick and frizzy hair, this treatment is already a godsend- after washing it today with the special shampoo and conditioner Giselle recommended, it is frizz-less. “It turns out that I've been coming to this candy store, if you wish to call it this, or card store, for nearly 60 years. It used to have a counter and a soda fountain and much more. However, it does have a great staff and a great card selection and some candy. Yes you can enjoy some fresh coffee and donuts in the morning and whatever they have to offer. You can play your numbers and hopefully when a lottery ticket. What's special about the Tanglewood stationery store is that it stands the test of time. It could use some renovation and some better lighting but it's certainly worth a trip because the guys behind the counter are fantastic.”
