“This thing is amazing! We came several years ago before our daughter was born and then the exhausted brain of parenthood and a pandemic led us to kinda forget about it until tickets were sold out each year. But this year we remembered! The Blaze is great with separate areas dedicated to themes. My favorite was an area dedicated to famous works of art but my daughter (6) really liked the rave house. Some things to know -- buy your tickets months in advance. It sells out quick. Know that you're going to wait in your car for about 30 minutes to get to the parking lot. Bring hot drinks for your people so you don't wait in line for another 30 minutes.”

“Really enjoyed our visit! Was a 45 min subway ride from midtown Manhattan then a 10-15 minute walk from the subway stop. We walked through a business/industrial area to get to the site, felt safe but it’s not scenic. Once we got to the site, we loved it. Since we were the only 2 visitors there at the time, got a private tour of the church and organ recital! Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The church and cemetery are a hidden gem and an interesting part of American history. Highly recommended it!”

“A great piece of history tucked away in Peekskill. It may not look like much from the outside, but you are in for a treat once you enter inside. A veritable treasure trove of Lincoln and Lincoln era artifacts await you. Worth a visit.”

“There's not much to see here, so don't go out of your way. But it's really cool history, supposedly the inspiration for Frank L. Baum to create the yellow brick road in the Wizard of Oz book.”

“The home of AA Co founder Bill W. A suggested $10 donation to get a tour of the site, and get a first hand look at where some of the AA books were written. The AA twelve & twelve, and Coming of Age book were written here. Bring your own lunch. Picnic tables are available. Gift store as well. Souvenirs are a bit pricey. $12 & up.”

“This is a very large boulder atop three smaller stones. There is enough space for children to crawl under. Nobody is precisely sure how it got like this, but it is definitely worth taking a photo.”

“Pros: supports local artists. Very inexpensive. Pretty garden and art. Cons: Don't expect to spend more than an hour or so here. Overall recommend.”

“Blaze was amazing!!! First time visitor. Parking was organized and a breeze. The weather was perfect but the layout was extremely well thought. The walkways were wide, illuminated, and easy to navigate. The displays were so intricate and beautiful. It was simply mind blowing and words cannot really describe how excellent all the detailed work was. The calm, spooky ambient music could be heard through the entire setup. Some fog machines near the circus train looked awesome. There was also mood lights of orange, purple, blue, and red shining up into the canopy of leaves. It looked beautiful!! All in all this is a highly recommended visit and trip. Well worth the admission fee. There was also food, beer, and snacks for sale. The gift shop was impressive and included everything from buttons, magnets, shirts, mugs, toys, books, etc. Visit and you will not be disappointed.”

“I've been to many art museums but this was very nice and larger than I expected looking at it from the outside. A lot of care and thought went into it. There's a lot of parking and rooms for exhibit quaint in my personal view. The back of it was open and nice to linger taking in the atmosphere. I will go back and recommend it.”

“We loved the pumpkins! We didn't have many expectations beforehand but we were so captivated by all that they did with the pumpkins. Attention to detail was demonstrated by the intricate designs and grand structures that were created using the pumpkins. It was spectacular! My wife's favorite was the planetarium, so cool. We'll definitely be back next year to see what's new.”
