I have been going to the Bennington Vet for years. Dr. Bannister and all of the staff have been caring, compassionate and accommodating.
Dr. Bannister is a very kind and compassionate man. I like that he usually knows exactly what’s going on with my dog, and he doesn’t put them through unnecessary tests and procedures. The office staff, especially the receptionist is very kind and always gets us right in if we have a problem. Their services are very reasonable too. Highly recommend!
**update** 11/22 my puppy had to spend 2 nights at the office for an intestinal blockage; they took great care of her, and we were able to avoid surgery. I am thankful for Dr. Bannister and the entire staff!!!
We have been going to Dr. Bannister for 30 plus years since our first fur baby and we are sooo very happy we found him as our vet!!! The amount of compassion and care that they all give your family members is beyond words!! We just recently had to say goodbye to one of our babies and knowing we were doing the right thing and the support from everyone there helped us it is never easy to say goodbye
The staff saved the life of our Treeing Walker Coonhound, Colton. Colton is a rescue from an Ohio shelter who was diagnosed here with osteosarcoma in his left front limb. It was a stressful decision to amputate, but the staff were supportive and understanding throughout the process and subsequent 6 rounds of chemotherapy. We wouldn't wish this on anyone, but would give encouragement to anyone faced with this anguish.
The staff also provided exceptional long-term care to another one of our hound rescues that arrived in WNY with advanced kidney failure. They provided Little Joe with outstanding medical care, and treated him as their own family member, enabling him to be with us far longer than his initial prognosis.
