“The first am most important thing to know is that the galleries are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. You don’t need to be a member or pay to visit and view art. This beautiful building is actually two buildings that were combined by the former governor of NY, Samuel J. Tilden. The members club is one of the oldest in NYC and has featured many famous artist as members. If you are able to get invited my a member to dine or have a drink I would put it on your vision board for the year. It really is a special place.”

“The Goethe Institute is a truly magnetic place where one can learn German, German literature, and German contemporary culture in general. Tucked away on Irving Place near Union Square, it offers a spacious library on the ground floor, and airy classrooms on the 4th floor. It’s best to join as a student or member in some form. I love this Institute. It is a haven for anyone interested in the European intellectual life and life style.”

“I was walking by Pearce and noticed the diverse display of pottery that was in the window. When I walked in I was warmly greeted by a worker, Sophie, who educated me all about the pottery and the artist that created them. Not only was she able to talk about the differences in the pieces, but was able to provide me with places that taught pottery in the area. While we were discussing, another co-worker, Max, joined in on our conversation about the art. I had never been to the gallery but was pleasantly shocked with how wonderful not only the employees were, but the art as well. Although the art on display was out of my price range, the pottery was very nicely priced and I will be going back to purchase some! I've included a picture of one of the pieces that I was interested in”

“Book a time to stop by and check out this new coworking space and art gallery. The current inaugural curation of Native American art is very thoughtful and covers a wide range of various media, including photography and sculptures. I'm looking forward to seeing more contemporary works by Native artists at K Art. And, you can get a day pass to work there... Everything is beautiful and the Herman Miller chairs are the bomb.”
