“I’ve been a ShopRite shopper for decades and I was thrilled when they opened up a huge store on Central Avenue in Scarsdale. Over the last few years as many of supermarket chains have gone out of business, I would have thought that ShopRite would have expanded their selection of produce to include Japanese yams and other more tasty potatoes, however as one of the guys who worked in the produce section said to me, “ hey this is ShopRite, not one of those specialty supermarkets”! I still think that ShopRite has many items that most people need, but I’d love to see them carry more produce that people can easily buy at Whole Foods and H Mart.”

I messaged her on a little short notice and she called and emailed me back right away and listened to what we really wanted. She gave honest feedback to what she thought would be best. She turned our vision into reality and not only did it look amazing outside but the carrot cake inside tasted delicious. All the guests were asking about where we got the cake and saying how great it tasted. She gave a great price and also delivered the cake for free even though it wasn’t that close by. “I have heard about the place from a friend in New Haven who goes there since she was a child (she is in her 60s now). She also brought once a panache cake which was absolutely delicious. I dropped by on my way from NYC and ordered chocolate mousse, panache and Black Forest cakes. I've traveled around the world to 36 countries and tried sweets everywhere and can definitely say that this place is among best in the world. The Black Forest cake made me think of Vienna and the chocolate mousse was just outstanding. The staff were very attentive and extremely nice. I couldn't recommend Scarsdale Pastry Center more!”

The portrait of my mother was exactly like the picture. The ice cream was sooo creamy and delicious: cookie dough and cookies and cream. I honestly think it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I also love the fact that it has layers of cake with the ice cream. You don’t find this anywhere. There was a minor typo that the courteous owner helped us with a credit for our future purchase- this is a quality businessman with integrity. I’ll always recommend you!”
