“Fantastic people. While not an official member of the church family, Will Rogers Methodist Church has been a part of my life for over 30 years. From waiting for my bus to elementary school protected from sun and rain under their welcoming awning, to my niece now attending their day school and my nephew taking martial arts classes in the evening they're always there. I've voted on every election in their auditorium. They've rescued rained out birthday parties and hosted Christmas pageants. They are such an important part of the community and my life in particular. They are great people who's kindness isn't dependant upon your religious denomination or church home. They clearly demonstrate God's love for all and willingness to share his good work!”

“When this café first opened, it was the perfect addition to the historic corner of Clarence Center. I grew up in this town, and after seeing the surrounding area mostly turn into plastic, sanitized, atmosphere-absent chain businesses in strip malls with no personality, this place was and has continued to be a welcome breath of fresh air. I haven't lived in Clarence for over 30 years, but after living mostly in NYC and now in Europe, this place is always comforting and familiar to my life and philosophy. The respect for the historic elements of the building, the feelings of balance and peace from the business's promotion of coexistence, creativity, and Eastern philosophy in their decoration and hired personnel all make me feel at home in a region feeling more foreign to me every day. I love the food and the coffee, and I always feel there is a caring energy that goes into the preparation of everything ordered. This makes a huge difference for me and people of my . . . tribe. My unsolicited advice would be to continue down the road of more vegetarian and vegan options and a bit less meat as it lines up with your business philosophy and likely the clientele who will feel most welcome and at home there. “We arrived for a late dinner and found the place about half full at 8pm. There was 1 waiter, a really friendly, efficient and funny guy with red hair and a beard who took our order and effortlessly kept up with 6 or 7 tables. He noticed when we needed refills on drinks and got them before we asked. One of us had sticky hands and laughed about it getting on their fork and he swooped by a few minutes later with a replacement. Needless to say service was terrific. The menu has a nice small selection of things but all we ordered was done really well. I had a grain bowl with tofu, we also had sesame wings and avocado toast. Everything was delicious and the price is pretty good for a NY eatery in Manhattan. Cool atmosphere. Great place for a nice dinner out or to take a date. Highly recommend.”
