“One of New York's magical places tucked out of the way but worth the effort. The building is evocative of another era and Pedro de Mena's "Saint Acisclus" sculpture is haunting. Unlike most other museums in NYC - it has never been crowded during my visits.”

“Tauba Aurback's Flow Separation painted art piece on the fireboat John J Harvey is at this location for a little while longer and you can get on for free on the weekends but get there early to get a spot (up until September 23rd, then it moves to Manhattan Husdon River Park pier 66a). Boat opens at 12pm on the weekends for viewing. Rides happen later on in the day. The ride is fun, and if you bring kids they will love it! The ship is available to ride from Manhattan now until October. If you can try to donate to the fireboat!”

“This was George Washington's office from September to November 1778. Come see an exact replica in 1/87th scale of downtown Pawling as it looked at the beginning of Thomas Dewey's 1948 presidential campaign. Learn about Admiral John Lorimer Worden, commander of the ironclad warship U.S.S. Monitor. Pawling has a long and rich history. Find out about it here! Lots of restoration and renovation this off season. Come and see what's new this spring.”
