“This is one of the oldest Police Department in NYC. Originally the Brooklyn Police, chartered in 1899,refusing to merge with NYPD by being absorbed when asked by the city of NY apposed by Seagate home owners association /Tax payers. The idea was to keep and fund their very own Police. If you get arrested by them I can assure you that you will go to a real court house and a real jail . I did some research and they' are very real. As a retired NYPD I was fortunate to have worked with their chief of Police. Best wishes to all.”

“You are awesome! Called about blocked driveway and you were here in less then 10 minutes! Thank you very, very much! Also, if you could only keep an eye on sidewalk near Harbor Fitness on Strickland Ave, it Is always blocked by cars, any person in a wheelchair must go into the street to go by. Very dangerous situation, especially with the new school open nearby. Thank you !”

“Clean station with a bonus of a police station inside of it. The area of Briarwood is a great neighborhood with lots of stores and friendly people. There are bus transfers upstairs and Jamaica Hospital two blocks away. Queens library, Malloy Catholic high school and the Queens Court House is in the immediate area.”

“NYPD Highway Patrol 2’s most finest, Officer Pocasangre allowed me and my wife to run this year’s TCS New York City Marathon. We missed the last bus from NY Public Library and took a yellow cab down the BQE, where the fork for the Verrazano was already blocked off and bridge closed to public already. Officer Pocasangre instinctually told us to get in his vehicle, drove us up the Verrazano Bridge and stopped the marathon bus so they could let us on. He allowed us to get to Staten Island and start the race. He is our absolute hero of the year. Thank you officer Pocasangre!!!!”
