This food is both excellent and familiar with special flavors. Not too spicy, but with a bit of a kick, and differently spiced. You must try the Beef Patty, like an empanada, and excellent snack. The jerk chicken, rice-and-peas, shrimp tacos, and curry chicken were delicious. This is a special place, with special food. Finally, a new restaurant with something different and delicious in our area.

I'd never had Jamaican food before but host Jason's "I got ya covered" demeanor quickly gained my trust. The cuisine he very deliberately oversees is uniquely delicious but not obnoxiously overpowering. (Does the double meaning of "jerk" make us nervous)? We got very generous portions of Jerk Chicken and Boston Jerk Pork, both with with steamed (long sliced tender) veggies in an ocean of rice with peas. Cooyah! A friend got a Jerk Burger and it was also an inspired version of this sometimes ho-hum American staple. You know the food is DEE-licious when everybody wants you to "hey, try this"! Lucky enough to get Bread Pudding (before sold out), the flavors of its beautifully textured top crust ambushed my eyes and mouth before I could even take a picture. Gonna be back again and again. Cooyah (Look At That) indeed!!

I had an incredible dining experience at Kingston 99 Kitchen! The authentic Jamaican flavors were a true delight for the taste buds. From the mouthwatering oxtail to the flavorful rice and peas, every dish was a burst of deliciousness. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making me feel like I was transported to Jamaica. The staff's friendly service added to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. I can't wait to return and savor more of their wonderful cuisine!

Hands down the best jerk chicken sandwich I ever tasted, well seasoned and is very filling I will never get tired of this place. Staff is very kind and friendly, wonderful atmosphere which make the food even more tastier.

We found a Jamaican restaurant in the heart of Pittsboro, it felt like Finding gold. The food, the service, the people who serve it and the chef telling my wife everything about the food, it all was fantastic. They open Thursdays-Sunday. The images below do not make justice to the amount of food one gets on the Sunday brunch, we however took samplers and a full meal.
