Looking around the store it looked in order and very clean so I asked if I could use the rest room man what a shock do I need to say more. After looking at chart on door the last inspection was like October I was traveling after Christmas.”

“I wanted new tree toppers for my trees. For less than $50 I was able to get some good stuff and not fight the Hobby Lobby crowds! More importantly shopping locally. They do take cards. It would be a great place to get cometary sprays. Definitely small in there and you have to dig outside but I found exactly what I wanted!”

“I’ve stopped at this quaint store several times while passing through the great countryside of Silk Hope, North Carolina. The store owner goes by the name of “Chub.” He so graciously welcomed me into his small, family owned business. It is evident that he makes every person who walks through the store doors feel like family. You can always count on a group of older men gossiping about the “rotational grazing” methods for their livestock. AND their pizza is the BOMB!! I look forward to seeing Chub and the other Silk Hope farmers on my next visit to “good ole’ Silk Hope Service!””

“Met with friendly knowledgeable sales people, great local building supply store with a relaxed atmosphere. Not a huge corporation or one of the typical "big box" stores. A great place to go and get all the same goods as those places knowing you're supporting a long standing local business. And they're now going to be offering Everlast, a lifetime warranted composite siding option that you'd never have to paint again with minimal maintenance. “I was in the thrift store on January 8th around 2:30 when a man walked in complaining about the woman behind the counter not saving a CD rack for his wife. He got very loud and argued back then an non on duty police officer got involved in the discussion and tried to usher the man out. None of these things worked until Gabriel came up. Gabriel walked and listened to the man. At that moment the complaining customer immediately calmed down. Then Gabriel got the man outside and handled the situation outside. Thank goodness for Gabriel! He was polite to the customer even though the customer was very loud. He listened and respond in a way that deescalated the situation. I will continue to shop at the thrift store because of how Gabriel handled the situation. Gabriel could have been rude back but he was not. Thank you!!!”
