“Went to Fudgery on my last day of vacation before heading home. The lady was nice to let us sample a few items. There were no apples. In the glass case was fudge, rice krispie treats, and huge chocolate covered marshmallows. I love the candied pecans. The prices are high.”

“My family's overall 5 day experience staying at Blackbeard's treasure house was awesome! I gave it 4 stars only because the internet connection was terrible. We tried to watch movies with our firestick but could not connect. There was only a few channels that you could watch. No lifetime or TNT 😞 but other than the TV/internet issues we had a blast. Sherrie was very nice and easy to work with. Any and everything you could had needed as far as cooking utensils were available. We were there for Thanksgiving and it was great. I look forward to returning to Blackbeard's treasure house!”

Their gas prices are always very competitive, and the restrooms are clean. The owners were born and raised in the county and have daily involvement in the business, and it shows. “Corolla wild horse rescue farm 🐴 is so healing for all 😃 The nicest people, they really care. I loved my visit at the farm 🐴 The people take great care of the horses. I enjoyed the video about the horses. Tells you about the people who work there also. That so touched my heart ♥ Rip tide & some of the other horses can paint! I need to go visit again & to purchase a painting 🎨 🐴 The farm is a great place to visit 🐴🫏🐈 to meet the horses and enjoy being in the country side 🐴🫏🐈🎨 By the way it's opened on wendesdays at 10am 🐴”

“I got the prime rib on a Saturday night. An absolutely beautiful hunk of meat, packed with possibly the most flavor I have had in a steak. And that’s before you put the au jus on it! Prime rib is one of those things that is really easy to do alright but seemingly much harder to do perfectly, but this place nailed it. The sides weren’t just an afterthought either, fries were great of course. A lot of mid-budget restaurants in the South have an applesauce side that is watery garbage as if it was an afterthought, but theirs was surprisingly really good, A tier. Service staff was nice and prompt as well. Not usually my style of place to visit but they knocked it out of the park and I will be back.”
