The Island Attic

Top notch service!!! We thought it was open, but it was unfortunately temporarily closed for the season. So we called, and the woman who answered said she could come in and open later in the day for us! She was very kind, and we really appreciated it.

This store was one of the best parts of our trip to Duck, NC. The shop owner was such a delight, she was so sweet and had the greatest stories for every piece in her shop. She has beautiful pieces from all over the world and from Duck and they are all very fairly priced. The owner was even sweet enough to give us this adorable little zebra as a birthday present for my toddler 🥹. Don’t pass on this store!

This place is absolutely fantastic. I can’t say enough for how cool all of the handmade items are in the shop and the owners are amazing. They were so friendly and helpful explaining the story behind each one of the pieces in the store. You have to pick up one of the many ducks they have for sale up there, they are full of personality. The puppy was a nice added friendly touch and was tuckered out but still excited to see us. Thank you guys, it was wonderful meeting you!

I came in here because of the great vibes and fell in love with a little duck statue they had at the door. He wasn't for sale but they were waiting on a new shipment to come in and Leigh helped me through the ordering process a month later over email! Incredible customer service and super cute products!!!

I love this store! The items for sale are of great quality and come from all around the world, which I love. The store has a wide variety of products, from soft, fantastic elephant print pants (they're a must-have, trust me) to little musical instruments, like drums. My family and I try to visit the store every summer when we are in North Carolina. It's such an awesome place to shop. The staff are very friendly and kind, helping you with anything you need or are looking for. The owner is also very helpful when trying to order items online. I'll definitely be needing some more of those elephant pants soon! The Island Attic is a gem in Duck, so you should check it out when you are in the area. Thank you so much!
