American Village Park

Always a good time whenever we visit. Covered picnic table pavilion (though the trees provide a lot of shade on their own), a water fountain that works, play structure, swings, and a wobble-totter which looks like a teeter-totter, but is more safe.

Not gated, but set sufficiently back from the road that runners can be intercepted. No toilets.

Great place for a cookout! They do have trashcans by the shelter and a water fountain

Kids love this park, great for kids under five years old. Needs more sand, and for parents to keep their kids from taking sand out of sand box. There are some rules that need to be reenforced. Sand stays in the sand box so others can enjoy it too.

Small but has a variety of playground equipment. Best for really young kids. It's never been very crowded when I've gone.
