“This recommendation comes with the highest review of all Martial Arts/Training places I've been to. And I have been to a lot of training facilities. Sifu Mike has all of the great qualities of a Martial Arts Teacher. He is knowledgeable, open minded, patient, and determined. I have worked with him for several hours a week on a weekly basis and consistent results where seen by following his exercises. His routines are practical, balanced, fun, and challenging. I put together a set of goals/learning routines that I was interested in and Sufi Mike took the time and effort to address each goal, and was experienced enough to provide the right training/feedback for my requests. I'm preparing myself for enlistment and to eventually teach others in self defense and I'm glad I found a learning place like this along the way. Compared to the other schools in the triangle, Mike's is my favorite.”

“Nothing goes together better than Christmas and Chinese food! And China Palace is the place you want to be on Christmas night. The restaurant was busy but not unmanageable. We were seated right away and got our food within 10 minutes of ordering. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. The service was extremely welcoming and nice! Would definitely recommend China Palace. Will be back for non Christmas occasions in the future!”

“Small,but nice park tucked away across from the school on Garrett Road,near Garrett & Hope Valley. It is easy to miss,just look for the green & blue park sign as you turn from Hope Valley on tk Garrett. There are a few tennis courts that are always full & I think a "playground " down a small trail. Restrooms are available. I practice flying my drone there,if it's not too crowded. “Our youngest daughter attended Family Preschool for three years and my only regret is that we didn't know about FPS earlier so that our two older girls could have gone there, too. The FPS teachers are truly outstanding, the community of kids and parents is warm and inclusive, and I love that it's a co-op where parent participation is welcomed. (My daughter always loved my "helping parent" days, and I did, too.) Our daughter was completely fearless and well-prepared by the time we had to send her to kindergarten, and we've ended up with a group of friends that we wouldn't have made otherwise. I continue to recommend Family Preschool enthusiastically whenever I hear that someone is looking around for a great preschool!”

“I started lifting with Brian at ActiveEdge about 7/8 months ago and not only have I been pushed everyday I come in, but all the trainers are always so nice to me, even at 6:15 am. They not only motivate me to be a better athlete, but they also help you when you aren’t having a good day or you just don’t know how to do a certain move. The culture at ActiveEdge is unlike any other gym, there is an emphasis on hard work but also inclusivity. I had to wait forever for towing because of course I didn't have a spare. I absolutely love this business. They had me fixed within 20 minutes of being towed into the parking lot. They are so nice and so professional. I will never go anywhere else for tires. Fantastic experience and I cannot recommend them enough”
