I’ve never been so pleased with an employees manner, expertise, and determination to get us furniture we loved. She spend a good hour looking online for furniture for us, and we ended up getting a couch shipped to us in 3 days (which is nearly impossible to come by these days). “I am the Optometrist responding to the review by Gary Dobson. Mr. Dobson had made an appointment with our office but had not provided his insurance information. As a courtesy to our patients we verify insurance coverage prior to the day of the examination so that time is not spent doing that at the actual visit -it can sometimes take awhile to verify insurance depending on the policy, and it may save them a trip if their coverage is not what they expected. The day prior to his appointment, I called Mr. Dobson to confirm as well as inquire about his insurance info. (He spoke with me because my office manager is on maternity leave so I am also handling some of her duties). He stated that he would just bring it to the appointment. I reminded him that it is to his benefit to have us verify his coverage prior to the visit. At that, he said "you know what just cancel it" and hung up. I am sorry if Mr. Dobson got the wrong impression, but I can assure you that everything we do here is patient-focused, including verifying their insurance in advance of their appointment. I have been at this location for 22 years and I pride myself on going the extra mile for my patients, and I would be glad to do so for Mr. Dobson should he chose to come in.”

“The family went out to dinner last night. We wanted to eat at Outback, but there was a 45 minute wait; that's not possible with a 3 y/o and 7 y/o in tow. Luckily there are many other restaurants in the area. We went to Applebee's and were seated quickly. I use a cane and the Host took care to ensure we were seated at a location that I'd be able to easily get in/ out of... he did this without our asking for the accommodation, but by being observant. HUGE thank you to him!”
