The lady who works the make up counter is my specific reason for posting though and she has been there since I started picking up my mothers scripts there. She always has an amazing attitude and is patient with my mother who asks a lot of questions. She helps my mother often and always goes out of her way to ask me how my mother is doing when she sees me there alone. Really makes the location feel like a part of the community. “Let's start with the bad. I have had a couple bad experiences here, but they were on nights that the staff were overwhelmed. For example, on the 4th of July only part of my order was made. In their defense, the employees working that night were slammed since all the other local options were closed. Customer service refunded my missing items, so overall it was just a bit of an inconvenience. Most nights I get great service and delicious food here. Tonight (1/26/2022) the cashier even asked if I needed a straw and brought it to me as I was about to walk out the door. I really think you will have a very tough time finding a better Sheetz or late night snack provider in this area.”

“This review is for the staff that helped me today while I got the first dose of the vaccine! This is a weird and hectic time for everyone so I appreciate their kindness, patience, and helpfulness! I was amazed by the woman up front (I didn't catch her name unfortunately) who was getting everyone checked in at the store. She seemed to be keeping everything well organized and she had a knack for remembering names apparently despite all the people she was checking in and the technical difficulties that made her work harder! The guy at the desk in the back (Patrick?) was super kind and attentive, offering everyone water and checking in regularly. And the man who administered my shot (I think it was Frank?) was so friendly, and I barely felt the shot go in at all, so I assume he knew exactly what he was doing! Thanks for all your help!”

“Originally called Pope's in my childhood but it was sold then re-named it Billy's Mart but basically same little last stop, country rural gas station. I grew upon the side of town this little, country store is located. Far, rural east Durham toward Falls Lake is where everybody gets gas, cigarettes, sodas, beer, bread, chips, snacks, their morning coffee, fishing tackle, that one ingredient like baking soda or eggs you ran out of and get, or a cool drink when riding your bike. Sells diesel and kerosene, propane exchange, air pump, free parking and wheelchair accessible. Growing up I knew it as Popes, has exchanged hands over many times but it's still the neighbor stop and shop. DOES NOT STAY OPEN UNTIL 11pm on SUNDAY!! Uggh”
