“After six years of Different Rheumatologists , I was so happy to find a Dr. One that genuinely cared about my health. Dr. muzaffar listens and never rushes you out the door. He is very personable and after moving to Georgia I still travel to be seen him. “Our son (3) had an almost one year bout with Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome leaving him scared to eat and causing an aversion to most foods. Once his esophagus was repaired and the vomiting ceased, we noticed he weighed less than he had at 18 months, we tried everything we could think of getting him to eat. We tried shakes, juices, purees, crunchy, salty, sweet. We tried bribes, and even tried to be tough. Nothing worked. Our pediatrician recommended Caring Hands OT. After our first visit/evaluation we quickly discovered that he had some sensory difficulties making it super obvious why none of the traditional methods worked. Ms. Marilee has been a life saver for us. Six months ago, this boy tried to exist on cheese and water. Today, while he is still not on the charts for his weight for age or height, he is gaining and he has a very expanded palette. This is not to say we didn't experience regression, or challenges, but we are overwhelmingly pleased with his progress and Caring Hands' methods. They are creative, and fun. Our son really looks forward to his therapy days! And while they are playful, they're not contradicting our rules at home. They don't "allow" the child to take advantage of them or to just get his way, they are thoughtful in their approach and, maybe most importantly, very effective. Marilee has taught us so many things we can do at home to help deflate tantrums and bring the joy back to the dinner table. She's very down to earth, enjoyable to talk to, and really knows her stuff. One of our biggest fears was that this diagnosis would give our son an excuse to avoid real life, when it reality, it's given him tools to handle real life. I'm no longer terrified of the prospect of him going to someone's house or to school. Seriously a huge sigh of relief. I would (Caring) Hands down recommend them to anyone seeking to help their children cope with, and expand beyond, their condition. The picture I'm attaching is of my son's lunch for today, 6 months ago, he ate ONLY sliced lower sodium white american cheese (seriously, that specific).”

“Funny thing is that I did not want to take my daughter to see him because my ex-husband’s then mistress took her daughters there. I went to him only to tell my ex “nope”. But when I met Dr. Rickabaugh, I was blown away by his professionalism and great personality. Thought for sure someone that gifted would be sky high. Well, he actually had the lowest down payment I could find and great payment options. It just got better from there. He told us exactly what was wrong with my daughter’s mouth, what course he would take, time frame and cost. Right on the money!! May I add that his staff are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. The best and worst part came yesterday and today. After having had her braces off about 6 weeks, my girl had a terrible accident on her horse. She hit a tree with her face. All I could see was blood and those beautiful straight white teeth arranged in a horrible mess. I was certain her jaw was broken and that some of her teeth would be lost. I immediately called Dr. Rickabaugh (thank God), and he was my life line. He told me to take her to the hospital to check for concussion, take X-rays etc. I sent him a picture of her mouth. I just knew it was bad. Dr. Rickabaugh asked that I text him with results, and to bring her to his practice at 8:30 am so he could start fixing her up. Hearing those words were a surge of relief. And when I saw the mangled mess of teeth put back straight and protected with new braces: I could feel the relief. Dr. Rickabaugh was the game changer in this scenario. If I really liked him before, I absolutely love him now for giving my daughter back her beautiful smile. And all though I know this is still a journey, my girl and I both know we could not be in better hands.”
