“Like a moth to a flame, I was drawn to the blue light that brought me to The Juicy Crab of Gastonia, NC. I waited a week and brought my husband. I have been looking for a place that serves seafood broil food. We were thrilled to try it. Upon entry there was a wait , but we were happy to wait. Our waiters name was Brian. As someone who has worked in the service industry I can say Brian was one of the most attentive waiters I have had in a long time. He didn't just do a great job, but was pleasant to deal with, and my cup never went dry! As someone who is always thirsty that's a big deal to me. I hope he is recognized for the gem he is. All I can say is this is a seafood restaurant and they know their seafood! Definitely suggest the juicy special seasoning for your seafood! As a southerner I can say this I approve of their sweet tea! It is the delicious cherry on top of a perfect meal.”

“I was starving today! I needed a healthy option. So thankfully I remembered Jersey mike's, and I decided to visit this particular location for the first time. The young men seemed a little tired when I walked in, but they quickly gave excellent customer service, and created the prettiest Italian subs in a tub that I've had in all my years of going to different Jersey Mike's. It was so beautiful that I ordered a second one. And I could not wait to get home to eat it! Their sanitation grade is a 98 at this time, but I feel good about them making 100% next time around. The dining area was clean. And the associates were wearing masks.”

“We decided to go a bit earlier rather than peak time and discovered they do manage seating flow based on there staffing level. Fair enough but even so we had a heck of a wait, we may have fallen through the cracks? Our server was doing a good job but we did have to question the wait. In this case it was not so much that something went wrong but that the manager made good on it. The food finally arrived and it was very good, the shrimp tacos were sweet and spicy as described and the chimichanga was excellent as well. Also loved the black beans. We will go back again!”

“The people there are really nice but the way Taco Bell has everything set up now you basically need to do self-service. The atmosphere is good except for one big problem it's not in the grace of areas so you actually need to have one of the very busy employees unlock the bathroom door for you. And it's a shame because it's in a great spot I go there to have my kids have a light snack before going to gymnastics.”

“Without a doubt, their Stromboli is the best we have eaten anywhere! We always order the large because the leftover can be taken home. Tonight, the large fed three in our party, and a quarter of the Stromboli was carried home in a box! My wife says the salad at Portofino is the best as well. We arrived at the restaurant right at closing and offered to take our food to go. The owner said that was nonsense, and we should take our time to enjoy our meal!”

“I hesitated to have dinner here because of some negative reviews about service. We had a GREAT experience. It started when hostess Amanda opened the front doors as I rolled my wheelchair-bound girlfriend inside. Then, an assistant manager arranged for us to sit in an empty room so that people weren't bumping into the wheelchair. Server Adam was a superstar, regularly checking in despite the restaurant being short-staffed. He also kept our drinks refilled without having to be asked. They lose a star for being out of onion petals and for a torn booth seat, but everything else about our meals was perfect - including special requests! Manager Logan checked in and we told him we were impressed with Adam and Amanda's great service. He says his staff is working hard to provide great service. He thanked us for our business and positive comments about Adam and Amanda. As we left, Amanda held the front doors, again, for the wheelchair. She smiled and thanked us for our business. She is a considerate angel. The Gastonia Chili's took great care of us! We highly recommend it!”
