I was able to gain valuable experience as well as discover my passion for non-profit work through the internship program. I was able to work alongside mission driven individuals who were passionate about their work and the people they served. I was also able to further develop a wide set of skills because of the range of projects I was able to take the lead on. Not only did I have the opportunity to serve as an intern, but as a Skills Trainer as well. Through that experience I was able to see the organization's mission in action as I worked with and supported individuals in the community.
