“Wonderful veterinary services. Always accommodating, friendly staff. They have helped me keep my dog and cats happy and healthy for over 20 years. I will forever be grateful for their kindness through times of loss. They charge very reasonable fees and have given my pets a lifetime of care. “I’m in town visiting family and my dog suddenly started crying out in pain. My aunt’s usual vet couldn’t squeeze us so we started calling around. King’s Crossing graciously said we could come in immediately. No more than 30 minutes after making that call, my dog was in the back getting x-rays and blood work. Dr. Fuller was knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I appreciated that she openly discussed the varying schools of thought of a couple of treatment options. She explained why she was choosing the medications she would be prescribing and how they would help my little guy. She also made some great suggestions for possible treatments in the future. Everyone was so kind today- the team at the front desk, the vet techs, Dr. Fuller. The cherry on top was that the visit was a fraction of the price that I would have paid at home. Not sure how their prices compare to other local vets, but, to me, it was a steal. I would bring any of my animals back here in a heartbeat!”

“They took care of my dog and gave her medicine. I was a bit frantic and crazy worried about her because it was day two with my puppy, but Carolina Animal Hospital made her so much better! Great emergency service.”

“Stoney Creek Vet has seen my Guinea Pig, Snake, and Pug so far and I’ve had great experiences. They’re busy because they’re a great vet, and I get sometimes there’s a bit of a wait for things. But I’m willing to wait! Someone made this little magnet for me after I had to put my Guinea pig down there, and mailed it with a condolences card signed by the vet, techs, and office staff. I thought that was really sweet of them and totally above and beyond.”

“Really nice staff and Doctors this may be my dogs new vet spot. Reasonable prices just wish the C-section price was lower. I could turn them on to tons of breeders for business. All around great place to take your animals plus its a clean facility. Great job S.V.H.”

“We found Dr. Camp when our elderly dog, Frankie, had become very ill, I wasn’t thrilled with our current vet. I called them and was able to drop him off to be worked in. Dr. Camp worked tirelessly over the next few weeks to try to get to the bottom of what was going on with him, staying late, calling specialists from teaching hospitals, truly going the extra mile. Although we weren’t able to save him, it wasn’t for her lack of trying. Her compassion and care for the animals she treats is unlike any I have experienced. We were sent the most beautiful card with personal messages from each of the staff and his paw prints, it was above and beyond what would ever be expected. The staff has always been so friendly and welcoming and it is evident that they love the animals that are patients there. That doesn’t go unnoticed. We now have two new loves, Toby and Henry, and I wouldn’t trust their care with anyone else! I never leave reviews, but when looking for care for your fur babies, it’s important to be able to see real and honest experiences and I felt compelled to share mine. Thanks to everyone at Northwest Veterinary Hospital for being so awesome💜”

“Dr. Dudak and Kat were wonderful. It was our first visit with our newly adopted geriatric golden retriever. For some of the exam we all sat on the floor with Lenny, Dr Dudak and Kat gave him so many hugs and snuggles, he was very comfortable during the entire visit. The care he received was amazing. I also should mention that Helen and Brittany were very friendly and helpful upon my booking the appointment which gave me immediate confidence in choosing this practice. I highly recommend Veterinary Hospital of Oak Ridge.”

“Everyone here is so pleasant and helpful, and they have always fit us in for last minute appointments or emergencies. Dr. Brown is so great with our dog and she is great with people as well, as she has a way of explaining things that are way over my head, so that I can understand exactly what is going on. She does all of our routine visits and she did a surgery on our dog that went perfectly.”

“It’s been over a year since I saw this vet. It’s taken me this long to review because I didn’t want to start any issues, but I was needing to bring my pet in and just checked updated reviews and feel Compelled to tell my experience. I brought my dog, dozer, in when he was very sick. He was 14 years old… I had my Beloved companion since he was 7 weeks. He experienced life with me. Dozer was beyond helping.. he was an English bulldog mix and already lived beyond his expected years. Ultimately I had to put him down the day I brought him in… but the issue was the treatment I received by the vet. Dozer lost 15lbs in a week. He began losing weight earlier than month and not really eating, so I made homemade food with rice a rotisserie chicken. He ate it immediately in seconds. Was I avoidIng the inevitable? Yes. It was clear his age was really getting to him… but the thought of having to say goodbye terrified me; and that was selfish. When the vet tech placed dozer on the table, he was so skinny.. he began to relieve himself uncontrollably. The treatment I received was weighted down in such judgement and coldness, it took me aback. I broke down… I’m talking sobbing until I was gagging type Of breaking down. The vet was so cold and I even told him that. I told him he is treating me as if I neglected my dog.. as if I did this.. through sobbing uncontrollably. Even as I said this the vet tech started nodding her head in what seemed like her agreeing with me. After that he tried to act cold more, by saying “I never said that, did I?” And again I sobbed and said “it’s how you are treating me. How you are treating dozer. It’s what you are conveying to me with your eye rolls and cold words”. Again.. I was sobbing horribly throughout this entire time. He then became very compassionate and even had tears in his eyes. I think he made a judgment call and was very wrong; and could clearly see this dog was my life. I’m a single mom to 4 kids.. I didn’t have the money to pour into tests and i was sobbing to him saying i feel like I’m killing my dog. That it was all my fault (god I’m crying now). His words to me were “you could have all the money in the world and I still don’t think it will do any good here. He is a bulldog.. he’s lived a very long Life. The best thing you could do for him is give him peace”; with very noticeable tears in his eyes. So while at first I was devastated by the treatment I received… because I truly believe he was blaming me at first.. he became very compassionate. I don’t know this vet personally. I’m not a family member or employee… I just know he must see some horrible situations and conditions that animals are kept in and I can only imagine the toll it would take on any human being. I left without my beloved best friend that day.. but I did leave with gratitude towards that vet and his employees. We all make mistakes and bad judgement calls; but he truly did make it right and I base my opinions on the change I see in people. I now have dozer with me everyday in a beautiful wood box I got with the cremation… I love that dog so much and miss him horribly and still blame myself; but I try to remember those kind words.”

Does everything in his power to see my "kids" as quickly as possible. He is kind, understanding and patient with girls and w me. “I had an emergency with my dog, I was there when they opened and they took him right in. Performed tests and screenings so when the vet got there she was able to review everything and give a diagnosis. They called multiple times to keep me updated and put my mind at ease. Dr Heather is the best and I would tell anyone and everyone to use Gate City!”

“We have been working with Dr. Katrina for years now and have found her to be super responsive and a wonderful vet to rely on. What she doesn't know or can't do, she knows somebody good who can. Bottom line: our first call when one of our kitties is not well is Dr. Katrina - always.”
