(October 9, 2019, 10:10 am)I hiked the Pinnacle Trail which is considered the more strenuous hike, but to be honest I didn’t find it to be very difficult at all. Yes there is steep incline for about a 1/3 of the trail but you can easily complete this hike round trip in about 2 hours. The view at the top is very beautiful. Definitely worth trying.
(October 1, 2019, 6:19 pm)Truly wonderful hiking. There's a trail for everyone. From easy to difficult. And they're all beautiful! I went up to the pinnacle, and the view is definitely worth it. I look forward to returning and doing a more challenging trail next time :)
(September 17, 2019, 1:27 pm)This is a great place for hiking and equally feasible for young kids to aged people. The state park very clean and well maintained. It has been my favorite hiking option over the years. Has a great view of Charlotte once you reach the top of the mountain. As there are limited parking spots for visitor parking, they get filled up quickly over the weekends and you need to park your vehicle a couple of blocks away and take a walk back to the park so be aware of that point.
(September 8, 2019, 8:56 am)Love it! Enjoy walking and running past people enjoying the outdoors. They have several paths to take. I prefer the side with the steps as the final hurdle to the top. I feel like it's about 300+ steps to the top and you have to earn every single step. Once you get to the top, you immediately forget about the journey because the destination has views that erase time. Clean views!
(September 4, 2019, 11:51 am)The hike was challenging especially nearing the top of Kings Pinnacle... But very much worth it. Absolutely beautiful view. I'd definitely recommend going earlier as it got quite busy. I only wish there were a few more places to sit and rest on the way up.

Crowders Mountain is a great place to go for a day hike or even to camp over night. Depending on which path you take, the climb and be somewhat rigorous (be prepared It's especially cool to go there at sundown and see all the city lights turn on below. I would highly recommend visiting this state park.
