Beautiful place to take your dog and connect. We met some cute doggie friends, and everyone was respectful when boundaries may have been pushed a little between pups. It was a great day, we will definitely be back.
I really like this park. There are two sides. One for big dogs and one for small dogs. I go in the morning and its usually pretty empty. There are a lot of people at the actual park while only one or two maybe at the dog parks. The big dog park is closest to the car parking and the fence runs along the back length of the park. There's a nice open area with benches and a really nice walking trail in the wooded area. There's a lot of room for fetch and chase. The small dog park is next to the big dark park on the right. There's a huge open field for your dog to play in and a nice wooded walk trail in the back with benches. We have played on both sides and my dog lives them both. There's a water fountain for humans and a faucet to fill water containers for dogs. There are also poop bags and big trash cans that look pretty clean.
This is my favorite dog park in Charlotte. There’s two different areas; one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs. The larger dog side has a great trail with lots of shade. Lots of tennis balls and buckets for water. Everyone is always super friendly and the pups are well behaved.
Small dog in-closure is actually a pretty good size. Most other small dog areas are much smaller. There is only parking at the kids park area. So a small walk over to the dog area. Be careful with the google directions. It takes you through the neighborhood that is next door.
