“As I write this, Dr Kwaku has been my primary care physician for about ten years. I've stayed with him him through several jobs and several insurance carriers over the decade. Initially, I picked Dr. Kwaku because he was listed with my insurance company on the web and he was only a few miles from my home. I was a bit put off by his moderately heavy accent at first. It didn't take long for me to realize that we understood each other quite well. I hope to keep Dr Kwaku as my primary care physician for as long as I stay in Charlotte. He has always given good care and offered sound advice. I would be a healthier man if I always took his advice. I can recommend him without any reservation. My own father was a General Practitioner who earned a good reputation in a small South Carolina town. “As an overweight, middle aged, uncoordinated guy I've always feared gyms. Mr. & Mrs. Fan put me at ease from the very beginning. No pressure, no long term commitments. That said, once you start your training you will not want to stop. Their knowledge and command of Tang Soo Do and their ability to lead and instruct all students, from elementary school-aged kids to black belts, was amazing. I liked being grouped by skill and experience, yet the Beginner Adult class always had a few of the more experienced students to give us new folks examples to follow and the ability to grow through shared training/teaching. Even through the initial Covid quarantines, Mr. Fan provided on line tutorials and on line classes, keeping us on schedule. The classes always adhered to the prescribed masking and social distancing guidelines. Well worth the investment. Thank you, Fans!”

The food tasted good and would have been better had it been hot. Everything was not even warm, but actually cool. I had the Avocado Benedict. Great concept - but... the poached eggs were a bit over done - I suspect from sitting. The avocado was perfectly ripe and cool (as it should have been) The potatoes had a great flavor, but too cold for butter to melt. I suspect that had it all been hot, it would have been unbelievably delicious. I would definitely give it another try...”

“I've been with blue max for a little over a month and I can see myself being here for many more. I love being so close to home but still able to do the job i enjoy doing. I've almost added 500 a week to my paychecks while staying in the southeast no more than 2 states away rather than being all over the right side of this country for less pay and less hometime. These guys really try to make sure you get the best home time with your family while also getting you as many miles as possible to make a good living for your family. I don't feel like a robot here and I can almost set my own schedule. I'm up at 5am and done by 6pm every day so I never worry about parking anymore which at my last job I was almost having to pay for parking 3 to 4 times a week since I never got done before 9pm. The mack athem trucks are pretty awesome. Can actually handle weight and can go 70mph instead of being stuck at 62 like my last job. And they have a built in fridge so no more taking up space. These guys let you focus on doing your job instead of trying to manage your entire life. You have freedom in this job but don't strangle yourself with it. And they don't make you carry coil loads!!! Lumber, stone, shingles and sod is all you haul for the most post (sod is only for the local guys though)”
