I wanted you to know that, first your Customer Service, in particular the help I received by the way of Selena and Lydia was stellar, exemplary at best. The style and fit of my ring was so much more then I really anticipated it would be. I lost my original wedding band and did not feel I could replace the feeling it gave me through so many years, and then "low and behold" this one really made me smiled and feel like it was home "again". Thank you so much,,, even my wife said with this ring I do "Wed" again!!!
    Nice

Rustic and main is truly the best location for men's wedding bands. I did a three-layer combination and chose my own inlays to custom make the perfect ring for my husband for our vow renewal on our 10th wedding anniversary. We lived out of state so communication was online and through the mail and they worked with me wonderfully to find the right size and design the perfect piece.
The first ring that was sent, was two small, and they quickly resized the ring with no ordeal and had it back to us in time for the ceremony. I highly recommend them. My ring was not from them because I hadn't heard of them yet when we designed mine. But their women's selection is also truly stunning!
Thank you for a beautiful example of our love and uniqueness for my husband to wear.

Rustic and Main made my dream engagement ring come true with an exceptional level of craftsmanship and service. I want to share my full story because I think it may help anyone considering a custom ring.

A little about me: I’m a 3D fabrication lead at a curtain wall company in New York, with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture. I also do some 3D modeling in Blender, and I always dreamed of designing my fiancée’s engagement ring myself.
After several iterations, I was finally happy with my design. The challenge was that I had no idea how a ring like this could be fabricated. My model wasn’t to scale, I had only eyeballed the stone sizes, and the details were very intricate. I worried it might be too complicated or that casting wouldn’t capture everything.
(See video of original 3D model)

My first attempt with NYC jewelers:
Before finding Rustic and Main, I tried local jewelers in New York City. I thought working locally would make things easier, but I was wrong. Appointments were hard to get, most jewelers charged for follow-ups, and I never had the chance to speak directly with a designer. Despite having detailed 3D models and renderings, I was told to “describe my design in the text box on their website.” I paid a $100 custom fee, but the results were disappointing—proportions were wrong, details were lost, and it felt outsourced. Even after sending a 7-page markup with references, the revisions looked no better.

    Finding Rustic and Main:
While writing those comments, I came across Rustic and Main’s Laurel Ring on Pinterest, which inspired me to check out their website. I found out that they offered custom engagement rings as well. I reached out right away, attaching my design notes.

Working with Deonte at Rustic and Main:
Deonte, one of their designers, got back to me quickly. Unlike my NYC experience, I was able to talk directly with him over the phone. I sent him my 3D models, and he patiently answered all my questions. His professionalism, communication, and clear timeline gave me confidence.

About three days later, he updated me that he was polishing the 3D design. Because of the complexity, it took longer, but to me that showed true dedication to quality. When I finally saw the rendering, I was amazed—the proportions and the detail levels were exactly what I had imagined. Most importantly, it was a design that could actually be fabricated. On the very same day, I also received a revision from the NYC jeweler, and there weren't much difference from the previous version. Rustic and Main’s work was on another level.
(see renderings from Deonte, photo 3-6)

Over the course of 7 days and more than 30 emails (mostly from my endless questions), Deonte refined the design and sent it off to casting. Two weeks later, he even sent me progress photos right after casting, before the stones were set. On August 1st, I received photos and a video of the finished ring, and it was one of the happiest days of my life.

    The result:
The ring arrived on August 4th, and I was speechless. On such a small ring (size 3.5), the amount of detail was incredible—so fine that my eyes could barely focus, yet everything was there. On August 29th, I proposed to my girlfriend, and she absolutely loves it. She looks at the ring constantly and has received countless compliments from friends and coworkers.

    Final thoughts:
Because of my background in design and fabrication, I hold very high standards for quality. Rustic and Main, and especially Deonte, exceeded my expectations in every aspect—from design communication to craftsmanship. I feel truly fortunate to have found them, and I recommend Rustic and Main to anyone, especially designers who want to bring their own ideas to life.

Bonus: The whole process only took 1 month for me to received the ring!

Rustic and Main sets the standard for a small American business! From the friendly staff, quick and transparent information regarding ring design and updates during production. The military/veteran discount is the icing on the cake for the quality of their rings.

It has been about 3 months since we received our rings and they are still in amazing condition, the wooden ring is amazingly comfortable to wear and has proved durable, while the gold ring shines beautifully under all lighting. Being able to utilize our wedding clothing made these rings truly unique to us, and being able to use teak from a naval warship allows us appreciate and reflect on some of those though times which ultimately strengthened our relationship.

    Thank you!!
