Oakcrest Preparatory Academy of Ballantyne

We were on a little bit of a waitlist for Oakcrest but I am so glad we persevered and didn't go elsewhere because we honestly couldn't ask for better caregivers/teachers and school environment for our kiddos. The school director is phenomenal and we receive regular communications about all the activities, events and happenings at the school. The building and facilities are modern, clean and have everything the kids need to have the best time at school. Each classroom is set up to allow for learning and free play, with a range of toys, books, etc. And the outdoor space is next level. The kids have so much fun during break time outside. The lunches look healthy and delicious and the teachers help the kids understand all about healthy foods. The staff are friendly, loving and inform us of what the kids are up to every day by posting pictures and updates to the app. I feel confident dropping them off each day (they walk right in - no tears!) and I know they'll get lots of attention, be treated equitably and always with respect, kindness and love.

We loved this place so much. Our four year old daughter started since the place opened, and she definitely enjoyed herself every single day at Oakcrest. We see her grows and making a lot progress. She makes a lot friends and love her teacher so much.
Our 3 year old son started when he was 2, similar to his sister, he is happy and enjoying playing with his little school buddies.
We strongly recommend the school because of the great teachers, good leadership team, and helpful stuffs, what’s more? Our little ones grow and making good progress everyday. We just relocated out of Charlotte, but I am sure our little ones will miss their teachers and friends. Thank you for all the hard work!

We love Oakcrest Ballantyne and would strongly recommend! I stayed at home with our first and was very hesitant about putting our second into daycare at 16 weeks old to return to work. This was the only daycare in the area I would even consider following multiple tours at other facilities. We decided to try it and knew we were in the best hands from from the first week by the caring teachers, strong communication, and multiple pictures each day. The big happy smile on my baby's face every time we get out of the car to go to school says it all. He is now a thriving 1 year old who is meeting every milestone and literally jumps into his teachers arms when we arrive - no better feeling when leaving your baby!
Our 5 year old (rising KG) is currently participating in Summer Camp and it has exceeded our every expectation. As he can share more than baby :) - we get to hear from him about the many fun and educational learning activities, summer reading, and field trips he has been able to participate in - kind friends and warm teachers who ALL know our boys' names. Thank you to all of Oakcrest Ballantyne staff for loving our boys so well.

As a teacher myself, I am extremely picky about the schools my kids go to. Oakcrest Academy has been absolutely wonderful. My kids teachers are caring and loving. My son just graduated pre-k and is fully prepared for kindergarten next year. It’s a little pricey; honestly though, I’ve learned you get what you pay for, especially daycare.

We LOVE this school. The staff and teachers are absolutely wonderful. They hold regular parent/teacher conferences and leave notes in the app daily to update us on how our son is doing at school. My son has learned so much during his time in the preschool prep and 3 year old preschool program. Oakcrest goes above and beyond to keep the little ones engaged and active with activities like yoga, dance, music, science, etc. We are so grateful to everyone at Oakcrest for providing such a caring environment.
