Perquimans County Library

I've been utilizing this library for several years. Everyone is always socially interactive, helpful, patient, & kind. They are knowledgeable, & always willing to help patrons with whatever they are in need of. The facility is always clean, neat, & orderly. They have a free computer lab with internet access, as well as printing/copying for a reasonable fee. If there is a book or other resource needed, they're always willing to help look it up, try to locate it, & order it; they'll notify you when it arrives. There are (2) private study rooms, & a conference room. They hold special events there as well. They hosted a free Super Bowl pizza party with door prizes that I also attended once. I didn't know anyone other than the employees, but still enjoyed the event, & it was a welcome break from my studies. They do allow people to utilize their internet service from the parking lot as well, & keep activities posted on a bulletin board. They almost always have books for sale as well, which, as an avid reader, it's a great way to help support the local library while building up your own home library. They have a colorful, enticing children's area as well, & my granddaughter loves to go there. There's another library closer to where I live now, but I still go to the Pettigrew Library in Perquimons County/Hertford because of the people there; they're great.

A wonderful small town library. Well stocked, organized and managed. Always a friendly greeting when you walk in.

The staff at the library has always been courteous and helpful. I have worked with them on both a personal and professional level. I am excited to be working across the street from them. Thank you for all that you do for our county.

They have a good selection of books, limited number of patrons.

Beautiful spacious place, friendly helpful staff .Large computer center with lots of computers. Children area, separate rooms for meetings ,job interviews, and other events. I go there often to borrow DVDs,. A real Gem for Perquimans County and especially Hertford!
