Blue Horizon Quail Preserve LLC

Finally had a chance to take my granddaughter along for a hunt with my dogs. Trying to get her interested in hunting and hopefully show her about the breed GSP that she will be getting soon! We had a fabulous time! The fields are in great shape and Mark was super nice host! Very reasonable prices! Our dogs did pretty well for not hunting last year at all! We will be back very soon! Thanks again!

I had an amazing time and experience. My friend who had never bird hunted or shot skeet also had an amazing time and now he’s hooked! The lodge and the property was beautiful and peaceful. Thanks to Mark and Roger for a great time. I can’t wait to come back!

Definitely a 5 star experience for us, first hunt ever for my stepson and first upland bird hunt for me in over 30 years. Going back again just before Christmas for another Blue Horizon Special package.
The preserve is nestled in a beautiful area of curvy country roads with rolling hills, woodlands and farmlands in the Piedmont plateau area of central North Carolina.
The 1910 farmhouse is in incredible condition and takes you back in time!
Laid back, casual, safe hunting atmosphere with a gracious host and top notch experienced hunting guides, Roger and JD, handling well trained dogs. Fun to watch them hunt!

Making it an annual tradition.

My father-in-law and I had an absolutely awesome time hunting quail, chukar and pheasant with Jordan and Mark. The weather didn’t cooperate in the morning but we were able to hang out in the lodge, chat and wait out the storm. The afternoon hunt was extremely fun.

As new bird hunters, we appreciated Jordan’s patience and tips. We can’t wait to head back for another hunt. Will be recommending to friends.
