The ladies were super nice to me & they were very good at doing there jobs!! I give this place all stars! Even though the prices of the stuff & getting my ears pierced here was pricey even though it was less money than going to a tattoo place… It’s a good place to shop & get cute stuff. ❤️ Good place & good people! “A small and personal shop, with a beautiful presentation of historic and traditional pieces. I was fortunate enough to have Hal Pugh agree to make a nesting set of 4 mixing bowls and a large punch bowl with 2 baker's dozen cups for me, in the late 1980's, when he allowed Mendenhall Plantation, a Quaker Homeplace in Jamestown, NC, to offer his work in our volunteer shop. I still use and treasure them. Both he and his wife are not only professional potters who take their art very seriously, but are able to impart the history of their location and craft to others who are willing to open to their wisdom. It is an experience well worth the effort.”
