“I called the store to see whether they had a summer (straw) western hat in my size. The young saleswoman answered the phone in Spanish, but she quickly switched to English. She said they did have hats in my size, and when I entered the store a few minutes later, I saw a complete selection of boots, belts and other western clothing. She had brought from the stockroom several other hats near my size for me to try. She was most helpful, and I found the hat that suited me at a very reasonable price. Note that Tierra Caliente does not accept credit cards but deals strictly in cash.”
