“Since going to see Dr.Thompson for my back pain, and even in the short time he has been treating me he has made a world of difference in my back. My jobs require alot of bending and picking up heavy material. Before seeing Dr. Thompson, My back was in alot of pain from neglect and abuse from walking concrete floors and picking up heavy objects day in and day out . I should have made my self come to see him about it before now, but truly glad I made myself finally make my mind up to go. You will find at Uptown Pharmacy a caring friendly face,FAST SERVICE And NO LONG LINE at drive thru.You will not get told it will take 5 hour’s to fill meds. Last important thing,I’ve talked with A lot of people over the year’s.We all came to this conclusion. It’s not anything more frustrating than picking up a prescription and getting that look like your being judged.That’s so unprofessional and not to mention “lame”. “I’ve just recently started going to this dentist in May, after not having been to a dentist at all in over 10 years… needing a good bit of fillings done, and a good cleaning, they were very friendly, and worked with me on everything! (My reasons for not having gone to a dentist in so long before now was due to so much trauma as a late teenager and having gone to a different dentist, he did not numb me at all when I had to get four deep fillings done and it hurt me so badly that I was terrified of ever going back!) Fast Forward to the last couple of months and 4 different appointments I’ve been to now, and I can honestly tell you that Dr. Dowdy is by FAR the best dentist in the area to go to! He was so kind, gentle, and very understanding of my fear.. he made sure I wouldn’t feel anything before he ever started the fillings, and constantly asked me if I was okay during the process to make sure I was comfortable. During my visit this afternoon, he even offered a blanket in case I was cold! I felt very as ease and knew I had nothing to fear. I’m so grateful they were able to work me in as a new patient, and got me in very quickly! The staff is very kind and friendly, always in a great mood and making you feel welcome! I will definitely continue going here from now on, and will definitely recommend this Dentist’s office to anybody looking for a new place to go! And they prices are very fair, they had no issues with my insurance.. they let me know well ahead of time before my next appointment what to expect to pay out of pocket, if anything at all! With all this being said, if you’re looking for a new dentist this is definitely the place to go!! I highly recommend them, and I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed!”
