“We moved our family of 6 from California in 2014. We have contemplated moving closer to Mint Hill and after several talks, we will not move due to Knollwood Elementary! When you come from a big city, it is priceless to have a group of folks that KNOW your kids and will accommodate parents on the-fly. I love calling in and speaking with Ms. Vasquez and knowing that she will facilitate any request I make no matter how last minute. The teachers thus far have communicated, daily via the girls journals. The staff at Knollwood as a whole truly care about my girls - and I know it! My husband and I truly feel that the school is a part of our family...not just some 'place' the kids go to everyday. From the Bus Driver (Ms. Johnson...we LOVE you!), Principal, TEACHERS to after school YMCA program...Knollwood ROCKS! My only hope is that some day my nieces and nephews on the West Cost will be able to experience a school as wonderful as Knollwood! Thank you 2nd grade teachers Ms. Nulty and Ms. Lloyd for taking care of my girls! Appreciate you everyday!”
