Can see appalachian mountain range on a clear day as well as carowinds, charlotte, asheboro, and many other city structures all around! Get a lil exercise in with the 1/4 mile trek up the trail. Bob who was at the top was a treasure store of info and very knowledgable and educated us on the history and geography of the mountain”

“We enjoy this park because there is play equipment for all ages and lots of shade. There is also huge field beside playground for kids to play sports or just run around. Picnic tables close for eating and benches for sitting. Highly recommend!”

“Great place. I got to see almost all of the animals. Only a couple were hidden in their private areas. I got to see some peacocks courting just running around the whole park. The info on each animal is good as well. Definitely coming back here. It's best to come when it's cool, so morning or if it's cloudy.”
