City Lake Park

This is a beautiful park. It’s big it’s clean you can fish you can bring your dog kept on a leash. There was children playing in the playground. There was a birthday party in the pavilion family atmosphere safe walking trails. I can’t say enough,for a small town like Albemarle this park is a big great park. You will love it.

Beautiful park with a nice size lake. The only issue we had was the dirty & flooded restroom.

Open space, clean, and trails have beautiful views.
I bring my Littles here to ride their balance bikes and play on the boulders and the playground
It would be 5 stars od the playground had SHADE.

Great place to walk, play disc golf, cycle or walk your pet... even if your pet is an 18 ft python. Water sports, great playground, and pavillions with picnic tables and BBQ you can reserve. The restrooms are clean and stocked. Watch out for copious poison ivy...and 18ft pythons.

Wow, this is a beautiful city park! A hidden gem of Albemarle, NC. Available to rent are several picnic shelters, with charcoal grills, and even an amphitheater. You will find a beautiful lake, yes you may fish, and a playground for children and many paved paths for you to stroll. A clean restroom facility is available near the lake and a Frisbee golf course as well. Enjoy!
