“As parents of two high school students at Calvary who have attended the school since first grade and Kindergarten, we are so thankful for the opportunity to send our children there. There were times we honestly wondered if they were being exposed to every opportunity that was available to them (sports scholarship recognition, advanced academics, etc). One day it dawned on us that they were indeed missing out—they were missing out on drug offers, class skipping, and a humanistic agenda. They were missing out and we are so thankful. We wouldn’t trade every advancement opportunity in the world for a safe, Christ-centered atmosphere where our children are taught their academics from a Biblical perspective. The foundations they are building in their lives through a Christian education is worth more than any sports scholarship they may miss out on or any overseas experience for history class. I know there are many fine young people who navigate the public school system and turn out just fine. God bless them. That was just not a risk we were willing to take with our children.”
