“The other day I had an accident with my glasses and they were unusable. My prescription has changed over the past 3 years and my backup pair was not effective reading anything closeup. A critical part of my job is reading small text on drawings so I was in dire need of a replacement pair. Been going to Wake Ophthalmology for years and went to Optical Shop to order a pair, figuring I will just have to get by for two weeks while they are made and shipped. I met with Evie in the Optical Shop and told her my story. She looked at my glasses and said she could fix them right now, I was surprised because my frames have a very fine wire that holds the lenses in place that would normally have to be done in a factory. Sure enough, she got out her tools and the special plastic see-through wire and went to work. The procedure was very complicated requiring much dexterity and know-how. After 5 minutes or so my glasses were as good as new. I am very grateful for the outstanding service provided to me by Evie of the Optical Shop. I definitely recommend the Wake Ophthalmology Optical Shop; their staff is very friendly, well trained, and always helpful”

Could use a little more seasoning to the beef and a larger patty for the price, I zoomed in this is why it looks so big. I usually can only eat half of most restaurant burgers, this one was smaller than most. My friend did recommend the fish and chips, perhaps I should have ordered that fish. The employees we very friendly and welcoming. Sports bar atmosphere made me feel ‘normal’ in these times. Great selection of beer to include local beer. Cocktails available. Great place to get a bite and unwind.”
