American Homes 4 Rent

We have been renting a house since 2017 and have had a great experience. You get a clean house from the get go that makes moving in less stressful. The maintenance department is fast to respond but we have only needed 2 things taken care of the whole time here. Last year there was no rent increase to help with the country shutdown and this year was a gentle increase. Professional yet friendly and compassionate.

So far so good.
Customer service was 90% great. Only one lady was cranky.
Price is fair.
House is in fair condition.
It's very odd doing everything online and never really dealing with anyone face to face, but I'm getting used to it.
Can't really do a full review yet, since I've only just moved in!😂

I have been working with Elaine Maneen, she is wonderful. She is always very responsive to my questions. Whenever I reach out to her via phone and leave a voicemail she is always really good at return my call in a quick time frame. She is also always very fast at responding via email, and is great at answering my many many questions. If she does not have the answer to my question she is great at pointing me in the right direction as to where and who can give me an answer. She is very professional, patient, and understanding. We have been renting from AH4R for almost a little more than a year and a half, and now we are applying to a bigger home and luckily we were able to stay with AH4R still.

The leasing staff member I spoke to today, Austin, thank you for your professionalism and patience with me. I have moved around a lot and as a result I tend to ask a lot of questions regarding renting and leasing policies. Your patience and professionalism really showed through on communicate what the policies are and what life may look like living in one of these houses. Thank you again. This was a very positive positive experience.
