First time making it to Angie's today after hearing so many good things about it. The server was very friendly, sweet, attentive and provided overall great service. You will not leave this place hungry! I went for breakfast and the meat lovers omelet was huge! I couldn't complain about the price of anything. Very reasonable. You could tell there are quite a few regulars. Which makes sense with their awesome team and the atmosphere they create. Oh and the food of course. I'll definitely be going again.
Absolutely amazing food. 10/10 food.
10/10 service.
9/10 atmosphere. (very small town diner feel.)
10/10 value for the money.
Tracey was a fantastic server. I was only able to empty my coffee cup once. She was on top of topping off the coffee. The coffee itself was amazing, S&D brand and it is perfectly balanced. I will be looking for it on my grocery shelf.
I asked Tracey for her favorite thing on the menu and got an amazing feast.
Biscuit and gravy, fried porkchops, scrambled with cheese, country potatoes with cheese and fresh chopped onions. I only added a pancake.
I would eat here again, daily if I could.
This place should be on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. The menu boasts some true diner faves, but the stand out for me were the home fries, which were amazing. The sausage patty was definitely homemade and was delicious.
This is a no-frills place with outstanding diner fare. To note: The floors are a bit slanted so I kind of felt like I was tipping backwards during our meal.
Where are the extra starts when you need them!
I’ve been working in Garner recently at a temporary client engagement. Angie’s has become my go to!
If you like Southern Cooking, this is your place.
Reasonably priced, this is your typical meat and two sides kind of place - and usually there is a free side of cobbler to go along with your meal.
Daily specials keep the menu exciting. And they have all of the sides that grandma used to make - today was butter beans and collards, but they also have okra, string beans, rice, mash potatoes, gravy.
Breakfast is served anytime and just like you like it!
The staff is always friendly - the service is always good.
I have zero complaints!!
I’m telling you, you won’t be disappointed in this place - quickly became my favorite and my go-to. I hope this client engagement never ends!!
