Gordon was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with my decision to upgrade my violin. He has a wide variety of interesting antique violins, all with very different sounds and stories to go along with them. He doesn't sell cheap violins, so it's really for people looking for something unique and high quality, maybe to upgrade from a student violin. He was patient and didn't rush my decision at all, giving me helpful information about each. He makes violins himself, and was able to explain to me a lot about the differences between them. Both times I went by, I spent over two hours trying out violins, and found the perfect one for me. If you're looking for something unique and reasonably priced, definitely go to Piedmont violins.

Mr. Gross is very knowledgeable. He explained and demonstrated everything well and sent us pictures during the repair process. He was always willing to meet with at our own convenience. He was personable did the repairs in a very timely manner considering all the problems we are currently facing. We are much more educated than we used to be, thanks to him.

Gordon was a true blessing to us. He knew exactly what needed to be done to fix my daughters broken violin. He was quick too. She had the biggest smile when we left. Will come back to buy for sure!

Gordon was very friendly and kind. I felt he very much wanted to please his customer and not just make a quick sale. He spent a lot of time letting us get a feel for each violin.
