Teriyakin'

I hadn't visited here in over a year. They updated a lot, most notably they take orders completely digitally now. Including in the store. It reminds me of a lot of ramen restaurants in Japan.

This ordering system really reduces opportunities to get orders wrong, while being pretty robust. I was successfully able to order a beef and chicken plate with no rice, double salad, and extra shrimp sauce on the side with no issue.

It's a but striking for a small shop to handle business like this, but it's efficient.

Food wise, you can't go wrong here. Everything on the menu is fantastic.

Man that was some great food. There are some good dishes here. I had the bento box, which came with a sample of everything. I started with the soup, which is always refreshing. Then I ate the meats and greens. After that I poured out the savory juices into the rice and ate that. Such great flavor.

The most amazing teriyaki chicken I have had thus far in the RDU area. I am a picky eater and like a lot of basic foods. I had the chicken bowl(large) and it had a great flavor and the home-made sauce meshed well with the consistency of the rice. It is worth at least one visit to try, as for me I have found a new go to place.

I’ve been eating at Teriyakin’ over the last 6 years, and they have only gotten better. Parking is difficult in that lot, but with the fewer number of people going into offices, parking seems to have gotten better. The menu is very easy to understand, and if you’re like me, having a picture by every dish is ideal. Regular portion bowls are still a healthy portion of food, but the large bowls could be easily split in between two people. The food is delicious and consistent. I always get the steak bowl with extra sauce!
