Smith Magnet Elementary School

I adore this school. My son has flourished here. The principal and teachers are wonderful and the curriculum is well thought out. They help kids understand and explore the world around them and how they can fit in while reaching for the stars at the same time! I'm so glad I picked Smith Magnet!

I love the school my grandson love the school but the staff alone needs to have more patience with the children I noticed they talk a little bad to kids and that is very uncalled for the are 5 year old children but other then that it's fine they need to be a little organized but love the school.

From a Smith Student...Smith is a cool school and your child will love it. Smith has great technology such as ipads, computers, smart boards, and laptops. If you are doing a project you could go to the computer lab to work on the project. The cafeteria has beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and pizza. The foods taste awesome! Students learn math, science, reading, and social studies. We’re learning division in math. Smith has recess so children won’t be lazy. Smith has different stations at the play ground during recess such as soccer, basketball, football, and four squares. Smith is an excellent school.

From a Smith Student...Smith is an excellent place to start learning. The teachers are kind and knowledgeable. They help students when they need it. My teacher checks my writing notebook and helps me to spell things. Smith has different stations at the playground such as soccer, basketball, football, and foursquare. I think the stations are the most fun games. Students learn math, science, reading, and social studies. They do area in math. There are tools to help students to learn math. Smith is the best school!
