“Perfectly fine. Not all things are a bargain but we did snag a 100 foot hose for 22 bucks. The store is like a mix between Costco and Walmart. Large warehouse feel with dirty bathrooms. Definitely price check as some items are exactly the same as online stores or other bargain retailers. The staff were friendly and competent like Costco though.”

“Very good store! The price is very reasonable, at some items is better than big stores. They sell tons of books and kids books, which are quite complete, with amazing price. Make sure to check the books with reduced price tag, the prices are so cheap. They also sell toys and board games, with very reasonable prices. They also have a loyalty program that you can sign up. The staffs are quite friendly, the place is clean, and the parking spots are numerous and close by.”

“Glenwood Community Bookstore is now open M-SA, 12-4PM. Al is 85 and is a great conversationalist. He ran a gallery in New York where he gave Robert Smithson his first solo show and put on a Happening together. He then went into publishing and had been selling books for over five decades. The bookstore had an incredible poetry section and has a lot of gems in a wide range of subjects. The children’s books are dispersed around the bookstore - in fact Al would like some help making a children’s section! Go buy a book from Al and support this important neighborhood and local institution!”

“Ordered a cookbook described as new through Abe Books. Received a used copy with a receipt for Amazon. Obviously their mistake. I filled out a return form and boxed it to return when Mr. Campbell emailed me to hold on to it that he would send a new one. Three weeks go by and another mistake ensues lowering my expectations to the bottom of the barrel but Campbell University Bookstore came through. I received a perfect new book; a first edition. They kept their promise. I did my graduate work at UT Dallas in the 90s and Campbell Bookstore was my favorite book shop back then. So many surprising finds. So happy that it still has the magic and the personal touch these days. Thank you!”

“Locally owned vintage collectibles store. They buy, sell, and trade vintage toys and collectibles spanning pretty much every decade. I've seen limited current action figures, '80s to current GI Joe, POP, 70's to current Star Wars, and everything in between. Seriously, wrestling figures to Mr Potato Head to Alien. Ghostbusters to anime to Hot Wheels. They even have some store displays available. Stock changes regularly. They mentioned a website but I haven't seen it. Staff is nice and knowledgeable. Store used to be tiny and super cluttered but they expanded and now easy to navigate. Definitely worth a visit for action figure and toy collectors.”
