“I own a 2001 Dodge Viper RT/10, a vehicle that I cherish as both my baby and an investment. I am very particular about whom I trust to wash my vehicle to the point where I typically just wash it myself. I couldn't get to my vehicle for quite a while and it desperately needed to be detailed. After much researching and reviewing, I went with Eddie at Thompson Automotive Reconditioning. He made me feel comfortable from the beginning, gave clear up-front pricing, and described in great detail each step he was going to take. He also assured me by requesting to show him around all the nooks, crannies, and trouble spots I usually struggle with. All I can say is HE NAILED IT! Every bit of trapped dust from deep in the dashboard vents, the leather stitching of the sears, under the hood in all the nooks of the engine where dirt collects, the weather stripping of the trunk, etc. Nothing was missed. He reconditioned my weather-exposed leather seats to a brand-new buttery finish and even scraped off window sticker residue at my particular request. Finally, the wax finish is AMAZING! No water spots, no faded out wax streaks, just a perfectly balanced shine. I love watching rain drops just ball up and roll right off my vehicle. Thank you Eddie! I’ve been to other Sam’s that are little lower quality - they have a license plate reader that works, so you don’t have to use the sticker on your windshield. It’s a small sticker, but still not a fan. - most of the time, the employees do a great job pre-treating your car before you enter the wash to begin with. They don’t typically use a brush here, which I prefer, but they are generous with the bug treatment and power washing. - there are gas pumps right as you exit the car wash, making it a super convenient stop on the way to wherever you’re going. They also have great vacuums and plenty of spaces (if the two rows are full as you are exiting the wash, keep driving around the corner). One is a laser wash which is brushless and the other has brushes that are soft and won't scratch your car. You drive up, choose which wash you want, and pay with cash or card. It's self-explanatory and there's a sign that compares all four wash options. I chose the $12 wash however there's one less expensive for $8. I had a question about the laser wash and an attendant named Sandy was kind enough to explain the differences. This car wash was quick, easy, and gave my very dirty car a good cleaning. There's vacuums available if you need them. The only reason I gave it four stars is because my car was still slightly wet as I drove away but tbh that happens at every car wash.
