If you’re an Asian person like me, then you probably get your groceries at either G Mart in Greensboro or H Mart in Cary. It wasn’t until recently that I figured out there was in Asian grocery store in Winston-Salem this was life-changing for me because I no longer had to drive over 30 minutes to get groceries to make Asian cuisine. Although the grocery store is fairly small and does not carry a lot of fresh foods, I am still very thankful that they cater towards the small percentage of Asians living in this city. They have things including curry blocks, quail eggs, Ramen, spicy chili oil, mochi powder, rice, and other stuff, only to name a few. The owner is an older middle-aged Asian man who may look mean but is very friendly and well-meaning. He will be able to answer any questions that you have to the best of his ability and will help you locate any item in the store. Personally, I always show him my grocery list because I can never find anything and he helps me every single time. Before you head to Gmart in Greensboro, be sure to check out the grocery store because it might save you a trip.”

“El Toro Supermarket is a Latin market full of flavors and colors. It has everything you need for your Central American and Mexican recipes: groceries, diary, traditional bread, fishes, meat, poultry, flours, pots, a deli zone. I tried the "chicharron" a crunchy pork skin with fat and meat, outstanding. I will come back for more chicharron and some "carnitas" (Mexican pork simmered for several hours with seasonings it looks delicious). At least but no last they have good service.”

“Great prices on a wide variety of items. Have never seen lawnmowers and brassieres in a grocery store before, but why not? The store was very clean and bright. Things were neat and organized, with no clutter in the aisles. It's not a supercenter, and that makes it even better. Lots of fresh vegetables, good meat selection. A decent area for beer and wines. The staff was courteous, greeting us and offering information about extra ways to save money with the app. Will go back and see if the first impression holds up.”
