Our daughter attended Farmview for three years including Kindergarten and we cannot say enough about how happy we are with the results. Like many parents, when kindergarten enrollment came, we were on the fence and considering just entering the public school program. But, we decided to stick with Farmview not only for the full day option they offered (which our local school did not), but also because we felt better about her absorbing the curriculum in the smaller kindergarten group environment as well as all of the fun experiences like field trips - which are such a great time for everyone.
So much came together in that third year of Kindergarten at Farmview - her reading and writing as well as other bonuses like geography, and science.
Our daughter went into first grade this year at public school and we just had our first parent-teacher conference. The results of Farmview Montessori's 3-year program and the groundwork it laid spoke for itself - Our daughter is reading well above her grade level and is the Enriched/Challenge programs for reading, math AND spelling. And it's not just academically but also her social skills and drive. She is confident; She is friendly; She is helpful; And she is self-sufficient and we know we owe much of that to Farmview.
Farmview is hands down the best school you will find for your child. Judy is the ultimate testament to the skill, passion, and devotion that a teacher should have. Every child receives individual attention, and Judy gets yo know them and find ways to make learning even more fun. As a Montessori school, the children are taught how to work independently as well as in a group. My daughter absolutely loves going to school, and this is without a doubt the best school in the state! Miss Becky is also wonderful. She and Miss Judy work together, creating a wonderful place for our children to grow. This school plants the seeds of success that children carry with them through school and beyond. I would know- Judy was my teacher when I went to Farmview 25 years ago. She also taught my brother, sister, nephew, and now is teaching my daughter & my friends' children. Farmview is a wonderful school for every child. You will not find better!
Our family has a special connection to Farmview. We sent our own three children there and then we were very proud to have sent out grandson to Farmview. He graduated from kindergarten last year.
A Montessori education has been valuable to my children and my grandson. After their time at Farmview, with Judy's teaching and caring ways, they have been ready to move on academically. And just as important, they were confident and independent.
We are grateful for the solid foundation of their academic life they received at Farmview.
Since we joined the Farmview family in February 2013 I have noticed a considerable improvement in my son's level of independence, confidence and excitement for learning! The teacher/owner Judy is one-of-a-kind with over 25 years experience teaching in this setting. She has a special connection with each of her students and a true commitment to starting children on the right path in their education journey. We couldn't be more satisfied with the education Eli is getting at Farmview Montessori Garden. Thank goodness we found this school!!
Farmview is the best hidden gem in Butler County! I recommend Farmview to everyone I know with children! The teacher to child ratio cannot be beat! The individualized learning made a dramatic difference in my sons life! He now performs two grade levels above his peers! If you tour the facility you will fall in love with it!
