“Very nice walk beside the forest, railroads, and through some fields. The trail also has some nice ponds along the way with one lookout bridge over the pond. It was a very quiet walk (except the train passing nearby) without any other people on the walk as well. There is a small parking lot off the side of the road too. PARKING: Please do note that you are supposed to have a hanging tag/permit to park there as part of Butler county metroparks. The permit is free to residents of Butler county and annual permit costs only $15, and locations to purchase said permit are on the website (Not available for purchase at the park!).”

“My little sisters love it when i take them here they have so much fun each time and its close to home in a great neighborhood so it always feels safe. There is a baseball area, a pace of grass for pets to roam, the playground is very colorful. The swingset includes a special swing for people who want to swing with their child in front of them. There is benches for a party with grills. Water fountain needs fixed but other than that it is very fun and we love the spinny thing lol.”

“Nice level half-mile walking trail. Good for a cloudy cool day. Not recommended for a hot sunny day as it's not shaded. There is a picnic shelter with one table if you're looking for a outdoor setting to meet with friends and maintain social distancing.”

Furfield Dog Park

Address: 6611 River Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park

“Great and spacious area for people to be socially distant, and there is PLENTY of room for dogs to run around. It's even better that there is 4 fields that dog owners can choose from. The pool in the middle, with the diving platform, is a great idea for dogs to have fun with. Although it was drained when I went, I can't wait to take my dog back!”

Thomas O. Marsh Park

Address: 6440 River Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

“Oh My God! Me and my father fish here and find some big blue gil occastionnally, but still there are alot of very good and big fish in the water! I love this lake, I don't like the long walks but ill take it if it means i can leave with either a good time or big/small fish. I would recommend fishing here, you just have to be at the lake at certain seasons, and the service the people that work there are very nice and kind to my family.”

Park Car repair

“Today I took the girls there again and we walked a bit of the trails. Last few times, a few ticks. Today 16 so far. Mostly all deer ticks. Not sure if it's the park or the trails or both... The dog park is great. Quiet clean and lots of space. We added a bowl, water and some toys. But loaded with ticks on the trails. The dogs each had one tick on them and my hubby had two. And all three had the proper protection. I didn't have spray on. No ticks on me. Got lucky? Also near the waterfalls, there are a few large rocks with names and dates carved into the rocks. They are over 100 years old. This place is historic and a great place to explore.”
